With a Ph.D in Materials Science and Engineering and a minor in Anthropology, Christian is a thoughtful leader who looks at things from a scientific perspective: Solve problems, don’t make assumptions.
Having managed Evaero since 2001, and through two large economic downturns, he thinks a lot about how to run an organization without losing your soul while staying profitable in today’s global economy.
While he has industrial experience in machining, casting, and metal finishing, Christian’s research experience includes: Defect formation in aluminum, titanium, and nickel-base investment castings and the mathematical modeling of solidification processes. This academic background has a lot to do with who he is today and how he runs Evaero. It makes him curious and gives him tools to answer questions.
“The scary thing is, you begin to realize the more you know, the less you know. We, like our customers, are working with many unknowns that we mitigate on a daily basis. Organizations live in the context of a time derivative. What may be true now might not be tomorrow.”
He loves being in a business that makes things, spending time with his family and friends, and keeping things simple. Learn more about Evaero here.
